K endall Funeral Home has always been family-owned and operated since its inception by Ernest J. Kendall in March of 1950. The idea of a free-standing funeral home was something new to St. Charles.

In 1986 Mark and Julie Kendall, second generation funeral director and his wife, purchased the business from Ernest J. Kendall and continued serving the families of the St. Charles area.

In September of 2008, Mark and Julie Kendall formed a new partnership with Ray Walker. He is a life-long resident of the Chesaning, St. Charles and Brant areas. Ray also owns and operates Walker Excavating, Inc.
